Watch Cardiology began in January 1995 in a newsletter format, reviewing the
cardiology literature for busy clinicians.
The seven-member physician Editorial Board
prepares concise summaries of the most important research appearing in the
cardiology literature.
The 21 journals covered by the Journal Watch
Cardiology editors include general medical as well as cardiology journals in
order to provide a broad range of coverage.
The summaries are derived from the close
reading of the original research, strenuous fact-checking, and clear,
concise editing. The editors then include their expert commentary at the end
of each summary, putting the research into perspective for practicing
clinicians.
