Watch Dermatology began in March 1993 in a newsletter format, reviewing the
dermatology literature for busy clinicians.
The ten-member physician Editorial
Board prepares concise summaries of the most important research
appearing in the dermatology literature.
The summaries are derived from the close
reading of the original research, strenuous fact-checking, and clear,
concise editing. The editors then include their expert commentary at the end
of each summary, putting the research into perspective for practicing
clinicians.
The 30 journals covered by the Journal Watch
Dermatology editors include general medical as well as dermatology journals
in order to provide a broad range of coverage.
